Our story starts
in Southwark.
DEA Music Academy London is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2013 by concert violinist Alda Dizdari, with the support of Southwark Council.
We bring music and creativity into young people’s lives, celebrating the cultural diversity of our local community. We are partnered with Southwark Music to offer students more opportunities.
Our experienced tutors are active performers who tailor lessons to each student’s ability, needs and aspirations.

Performing is a central part of life at DEA. Regular public concerts help students build stage confidence, share their progress and learn from each other. We also prepare students for ABRSM grade exams and their next musical goals.
Our community has supported children from a wide range of backgrounds, including young people with learning difficulties. We aim to give every student a positive, encouraging musical experience.
