About DEA Music Academy London

One of the most diverse music communities in the borough of Southwark, DEA Music Academy, a not for profit organisation was founded in 2013 by the concert violinist Alda Dizdari with the support of Southwark Council. The Academy is helping the local community celebrate cultural diversity and creativity through music.

Our main focus is to have a positive impact in the lives of young people by bringing music and creativity into their lives. We already have excellent track record from our work in the past four years. The whole musical experience is based on performing, with public performances at least every term as well as preparing for ABRSM Grade exams that improve chances of students being accepted in their favoured secondary schools or becoming music scholars.
