The DEA Home Education Music Programme

Music lessons for home-educated children in London

Inspiring young musicians. Building confidence. Making music together.

A musical education that fits around your family

At DEA Music & Art, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to enjoy a rich and inspiring musical education.

Our Home Education Music Programme has been designed to welcome home-educated children of all ages and abilities, offering them the opportunity to explore music, develop their talents and enjoy learning in a friendly, creative and supportive environment.

Based at our music studio on Southwark Bridge Road, London SE1, we provide a dedicated space where children can discover their musical potential, make friends and experience the joy of making music together.

We understand that every home-educating family is different. That’s why we offer flexible music tuition to suit individual interests, abilities and learning goals.

Whether your child is taking their first steps in music or already plays an instrument, we can help them develop their skills and confidence.

Confidence beyond the classroom

More than just music lessons

Music offers children so much more than the ability to play an instrument. Learning music can help develop:

  • Creativity and imagination.
  • Concentration and listening skills.
  • Confidence and self-expression.
  • Discipline and perseverance.
  • Communication and social skills.
  • Teamwork through group music-making.

For home-educated children, group music activities can also provide valuable opportunities to meet other young people who share similar interests.
